My Racing Journey
Growing up in O’Fallon, Missouri, Connor Aspley was first drawn to the world of sports through the ice rink. For eight years, he dedicated himself to competitive hockey — developing the discipline, mental toughness, and competitive fire that would later define his approach to motorsports. But like many great athletes, Connor’s path had a pivot point.
At age fourteen, Connor attended his first live racing event and was instantly captivated. The speed, the precision, the roar of engines — it all spoke to something deep in him. Within months, he began karting. What started as a curiosity quickly became an obsession. Connor displayed a natural gift behind the wheel, translating his athletic background into remarkable focus and car control.
His progression through formula car racing has been nothing short of impressive. In 2024, competing in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Series, Connor claimed his first open-wheel race victory and earned two podium finishes — all while only entering three events. This debut season announced him as a genuine talent in American open-wheel racing.
